I live in zone 6 but didn’t want to say goodbye to this little faerie. So before it got too cold I brought it in and planted it in a crock half expecting it to die but willing to settle for whatever enjoyment I could squeak out of it. It is now later January and it’s still pushing out flowers. I’ve not given it any fertilizer (yet) and it’s in partial shade in the bathroom facing west. I’m definitely going to try to keep her going and look forward to getting more this spring.
I should've gotten them earlier -- they were trimmed back (with minimal flowers) but still too tall when they arrived. Looked bad for awhile; much better now.
I am so happy with my plants from Garden Crossings. The Diamond Frost is flourishing in my tree stump pot. Most impressive was the excellent packing and quality of all the plants. After using 3 other mail order companies with increasingly high numbers of weak plants, Ive found my new source for unique, healthy stock.
This plant is absolutely the best for large pots and planters. Sure does not disappoint. Very delicate looking - really stunning.I will be adding this to future planters for sure.
