Description

(Coneflower) Echinacea Double Dipped™ Raspberry Ripple is a hardy perennial coneflower known for its fully double, raspberry-pink blooms with a dark centered eye. The flowers measure 4–4.5 inches across and bloom on strong, well branch, upright stems from mid to late summer, with potential for light reblooming later in the season. Its height reaches around 22-26 inches, with a spread of 18-24 inches, forming a compact and well-branched plant. This echinacea performs best in full sun and well-drained soil, and is hardy in zones 4–8. Once established, it shows good tolerance to heat and drought. As a North American native, it provides nectar for a variety of pollinators including bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The foliage is coarse and generally avoided by deer. In addition to its value in pollinator gardens, the long-lasting blooms are suitable for use as cut flowers. Double Dipped™ Raspberry Ripple offers a unique variation in flower form and color within the echinacea family, and can be a useful addition to sunny perennial beds or borders.
