Dreameria® 'Sweet Dreams' Sea Thrift (Armeria)
- Season Long Blooms,
- Large Flowers,
- Nice for Landscapes & Containers
Description
(SeaThrift) Enjoy the beautiful blooms of Armeria Dreameria® Sweet Dreams from early spring until fall. A breeding breakthrough, the Dreameria® handles the heat of the summer producing flowers for a long period of time. The attractive lavender-mauve globe-shaped flowers are on wiry leafless stalks hovering above the grass-like foliage. Standing 10-12 inches tall and wide, this low-growing, mounding habit perennial is perfect for garden borders. Hardy in zones 5-9, Armeria Dreameria® Sweet Dreams likes to be grown in full sun locations and is salt and drought-tolerant. We recommend removing the spent blooms once a month to keep the plant blooming. This deer-resistant border or container plant attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and pollinators to the garden.
