Description

(Ornamental Oregano) When edible and ornamental meet, 'Drops of Jupiter' Oregano is formed. Standing 24 inches tall and spreading to 26 inches wide, 'Drops of Jupiter' features bright chartreuse yellow foliage when planted in full sun gardens. Midsummer, pink flowers emerge from violet purple calyxes. Long after the flowers have faded, the purple calyxes remain to extend the color season of Origanum 'Drops of Jupiter'. Planted in full sun, this drought-tolerant perennial can handle poor soil conditions. The fragrant, attractive foliage is easy to grow and a nice selection for mass plantings or as a single specimen.
