Fairytrail Bride® Cascade Hydrangea
- New Trailing Habit,
- Extra Large Flowers,
- Reblooms Through the Summer
Description
(Cascade Hydrangea™) Winning the prestigious Plant of The Year Award from the Chelsea Flower Show in 2018, Hydrangea Fairytrail Bride® features a new trailing form of Hydrangea. Hardy in zones 7-9, Hydrangea Fairytrail Bride® creates a 4-foot tall and wide draping ball of color. Blooming off of the previous season's growth, this spring bloomer erupts with large lace cap blooms that make up extra large heavily serrated florets and reblooms throughout the summer. The deep green draping foliage spills over the sides of the container and is a beautiful backdrop to the crisp white blooms. This new Cascade Hydrangea™ opens up a bunch of new options for applications of using hydrangeas. Think Hydrangeas for hanging baskets, draping over rock walls, and spilling over containers in the garden. Fairytrail Bride® is an excellent reblooming hydrangea for full sun to part shade locations and prefers moist, well-drained locations. We do not recommend trimming this hydrangea at any point unless you are trimming out dead growth. Trimming at any point could affect the current or future blooms. Cascade Hydrangea™ Fairytrail Bride® is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrub.

Reviews
Beautiful plants. This is my first full year from innitialy planting in a container.. Zone 7a, overwinterd in the garage. Vibrant green foliage with lots of buds. However, have been experiencing problems with the florets not completely blooming. Some may bloom up to 25 percent and the rest never open. Have not had complete full blooming this season. Is there anything I need to do differently? Thank you.
Love this plant!!! Beautiful I had it in full sun in zone 8b but some of the leaves burned in our early 90 degree weather even though I kept it well watered. I've moved it to a partly shady site and it's thriving.
It should do fine in zone 7
I live in zone 7b, would fairytrail bride hydrangea survive over the winter?
