Description

(Clematis) This is beauty in a small package. Avante-Garde™ creates a very unusual 3-inch magenta-red flower with lighter pink petaloid stamens. It gives the impression of a double flower and protruding trumpet, looking much like a small dahlia. Standing 8-12 feet tall, Avante-Garde™ is an aggressive growing clematis that will nicely fill up a trellis or fence in no time. Quite free flowering, this clematis blooms from July through September, and belongs to Clematis Prune Group 3. Bred for its excellent disease resistance, Avante-Garde™ is a very unique and premium clematis variety! Flower color may vary due to the environment.

Perfect!!!

I didn't expect it to bloom the 1st year... I really didn't know what to expect but I knew it'd be a healthy plant. This baby has exceeded expectations! All 16 plants I ordered from Garden Crossings have survived and are doing well. That says a LOT coming from Michigan because I'm in Southeastern AL close to FL where it's really tough on plants. Pics are of 1st blooms but I've had so, so many since and continue to have more! It's like sparkles for my garden . Thank y'all!!
