'Firefly Peach Sky' Yarrow (Achillea)
- Pretty Peachy Color,
- Drought Tolerant,
- Deer and Rabbit Resistant
Description
(Yarrow) Enjoy the long season, drought tolerant color of Achillea 'Firefly Peach Sky' in your summer garden. Achillea 'Firefly Peach Sky' is one of the tallest in the series standing 32-36 inches tall and spreads up to 28-32 inches wide. The light peachy orange blooms fade to yellow creating an array of warm colors that contrast beautifully with the deep green foliage. Although taller than many Yarrow, the Firefly series boosts a dense upright mounding habit for additional hardiness. We recommend a light trim mid summer once your plants have slowed down on blooming, this will encourage an additional flush of blooms. Hardy in zones 3-8, 'Firefly Peach Sky' Yarrow does best when planted in full sun locations with average to dry soil conditions. Yarrow is a deer and rabbit resistant perennial! Enjoy the flutter of the pollinators and butterflies as they visit your garden. Achillea 'Firefly Peach Sky' can be enjoyed as a cut or dried flower as part of your indoor decor. A perfect addition for borders, planted in mass, or container combinations, 'Firefly Peach Sky' is an easy to grow perennial.
