Description
(New England Aster) Extend the color of your garden into fall with the vibrant blooms of 'Grape Crush' Aster. 'Grape Crush' features dark, royal purple flowers that begin blooming in late August into September. Standing 26-30 inches tall and up to 44 inches wide, 'Grape Crush' forms a dense mound of dark green foliage. As the flowers start to emerge, they are packed tight forming a dense ball of color. Hardy in zones 3-8, 'Grape Crush' Aster likes to be grown in full sun locations with regular watering. Asters make a great border plant and also do well in mixed fall planters. Snip a few branches off and enjoy the blooms indoors in a decorative vase. Native to North America, Asters are a great addition to pollinator gardens. Enjoy the butterflies and bees as they gather nectar from your garden.
