If you are looking for an early blooming perennial, this is your plant. Honeymoon™ Rio Carnival has a large single bloom that is deep burgundy and edged in bright yellow. Each bloom gets 3.5-4 inches across and is very floriferous. With blooms starting in late winter, Honeymoon™ Rio Carnival is known to bloom up to 6 weeks, and after that, the spent blooms are equally as beautiful for weeks longer. Grown in part shade to full shade is where Helleborus are most at home. They prefer damp to moist soil conditions, great for woodland gardens. The dark green foliage is semi evergreen.
