Description

(Peruvian Lily) Bring one of the most used and beloved flowers of florists into your landscape with the INCA® series of Alstroemeria. INCA OCEAN® Alstroemeria has trumpet shaped non-stop flowers that are bi-color lavender-blue with lighter edges. Inca Ocean® is considered a micro Alstroemeria reaching 8-12 inches high by 14-16 inches wide. This long-blooming beauty will perform all season until the first frosts. A tender tuberous perennial in zones 7-10, Inca Ocean® Peruvian Lily can be grown as an annual in colder climates. Place in a full to part sun location in moist, well-drained soil where it will bring non-stop tropical beauty to the front of the border or containers. It cannot tolerate wet sites as too much water will lead to root rot. Long lasting in the vase, Inca Ocean® is an excellent cut flower, so make sure to bring the show indoors! The INCA® series of Alstroemeria are power house bloomers and performers and we offer many of the colors available, so be sure to collect them all!

Ordered two perennial plants in one quart size. Plants were small in the pots but appeared healthy. Packaging was good but had a fair amount of soil that spilled out on one plant which I had to fix. Paid $18.99 for shipping which was very high. So for a total of $50 I have two small plants that I probbaly could have gotten bigger ones for alot less at the local garden center. Nothing special with this company. Too early to know if they will thrive. Wont buy from them again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience — we genuinely appreciate honest feedback, and we're glad your plants arrived healthy and well-packaged.

You raise a fair point about size and price, and it's one worth explaining. The plants we ship are grown in smaller containers specifically for shipping — it reduces transplant stress and gives them a better chance of establishing strong roots in your garden. They may be compact now, but that energy is going into root development where it counts.

As for pricing, we grow our plants in smaller specialty quantities, and the varieties we carry are often harder to find at big-box retailers. Shipping live plants safely also costs more than shipping a book or a sweater — temperature, packaging, and speed all factor in.

That said, we understand it's a real investment, and we want you to feel good about every order. If you ever have concerns about what you receive, please reach out to us directly.
