Blooming from early summer and again later in the season, this full sun to part shade loving clematis is ready to find a home in your garden. Clematis like to have their roots shaded so we recommend putting mulch over the roots or plant something near the base to create natural shade. Jackmanii is part of prune group 3, meaning the flowers come from the new season growth. We recommend trimming your plants back in the fall or early spring. Clematis is a great addition to trellis, arbors, climbing up electric poles, or giving your deck poles a flowery vertical look.
