- Warm Summer Colors,
- Very Versatile
Description
(Diervilla) Kodiak Spiced™ Diervilla is a wonderful, warm-toned plant to add to your garden. It features green foliage bronzed with dusts of deep red/orange. Vibrant yellow flowers appear in the summer to add to the beauty of this plant. Hardy in zones 3-8, it grows best in full sun to part shade locations. It will grow in pretty much any soil type, just not in overly soggy soils. Kodiak Spiced™ Diervilla can reach a height and width of 3-4 feet, growing in a neat, upright habit. It blooms on new growth and can be trimmed every spring to keep its shape. This is a native shrub, and pollinators love the flowers in the summer. Kodiak Spiced™ Diervilla looks absolutely stunning in the garden or landscape when planted as a mass planting or as a hedge or border. It's also a standout addition when planted on its own. Its stems can be cut and brought indoors to add some foliage interest to your arrangements. Kodiak Spiced™ Diervilla is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
