It displays an abundance of large, bright pink flowers on large panicles that are set off by dark green evergreen foliage that is a lovely blushed peach color when newly emerged. La Vida Grande® was a top performer in trials with excellent healthy foliage. This selection is for our Southern gardeners in zones 8-10 and grows best in acidic, well-drained soil in full to part sun. Although it can tolerate some shade, we recommend planting in full sun to enhance blooming and performance. La Vida Grande® Rhaphiolepis grows 4-6 feet tall and wide and can be used as a specimen plant, as a hedge, or in the mixed border.
