Lindsay™ Clematis
- 6-7" Blooms,
- Repeat Bloomer,
- 6-8 Feet Tall
Description
(Clematis) If you are looking for a clematis with large flowers, check out Clematis Lindsay™. In the spring, large blue/purple blooms emerge, some reaching 6-7 inches wide. The deep red anthers contrast beautifully with the blooms. This free-flowering clematis blooms in June/July and will set another cycle of blooms later in the summer. Standing 6-8 feet tall, Clematis Lindsay™ is tall enough to climb an arbor or obelisk or compact enough to add to container gardens. Hardy in zones 4-9, Clematis Lindsay™ likes to be grown in full sun to part shade locations. As with all clematis, we recommend sharing the roots from the heat of summer with a layer of mulch or planting companion plants around the base. We recommend pruning back to 12 inches in early spring. Please note that clematis flower color may vary depending on its environment.
