Little Henry® Sweetspire (Itea)
- Pure White Flowers,
- Compact Shrub,
- Excellent Fall Color
Description
(Sweetspire) Little Henry® Itea is a versatile, compact shrub that offers multi-season appeal. In early summer, butterflies and hummingbirds are attracted to a profusion of sweetly scented, white flowers that erupt over the mounding foliage. As the temperature cools in early fall, the foliage turns reddish orange and eventually changes to a brilliant blood red that is even more intense than a burning bush! Little Henry® sweetspire is extremely versatile in the landscape. It prefers moist soils, but will even tolerate wet conditions. It will grow in full sun to full shade, and requires little pruning or other maintenance. A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.

Reviews
Just love this one, so beautiful in the Spring and Fall! Loves my shade garden.
I planted one Itea last spring. It produced a fair amount of blooms and I loved the fall color it produced. We had a tough winter in Chicago, but it came back like a champ and it is full, lush and has loads of blooms. The leaves are so glossy when they are green. I cannot wait to see how it will look in the fall.
Two neighbors in my development have Little Henry in their gardens, both are outstanding. Can't wait till they come back in stock so I may purchase.
Disappointing so far. No flowers like the photos. Planted in partial shade 2 years old. I have 5 of these.
