Description
(Hosta) Hosta ‘Mighty Mouse’ is a sport of the Hosta ‘Blue Mouse Ears’. This small plant can pack a mighty big punch to your container gardening hosta collections. The leaves are a variegated blue-green with a creamy white edge bringing a nice vibrancy to your space. This hosta resists slug damage due to the thickness of its leaves. In the early season, ‘Mighty Mouse’ produces large lavender flowers which make for great cut flowers or to enjoy with the hosta. This plant is a great border addition to any garden landscape, it’s also small enough to fit in container combinations. ‘Mighty Mouse’ Hosta thrives under part to full shade and is hardy in zones 3-9. It can reach a height of 8 inches, and width of 12 inches making it a smaller variety. It grows best in moderate to moist soil.
