Mucho Gusto® Abelia
- Fragrant, Long Blooming,
- Stabile Variegation,
- Fast Grower
Description
(Abelia) Beautiful and long-blooming, Abelia Mucho Gusto® is a great addition to the summer garden. The semi-evergreen, variegated foliage is everything you are looking for, silver-green with a creamy white margin, and very stable, holding its coloration. During the summer into the fall, the beautiful foliage is adorned with stunning, fragrant, small white bell-shaped flowers. Standing 2- 3 ½ feet tall and up to 5 feet wide, it has a mounding spreading habit. With an excellent root system and a non flopping habit, it is a fast grower. Abelia blooms on the new growth, so if pruning is needed, you can do so in the Fall or early Spring. Hardy in zone 6-9, Abelia likes to be grown in a full sun to part shade location. Enjoy the hummingbirds and butterflies that Abelia Mucho Gusto® welcomes to the garden, but not to worry, Abelia is a deer-resistant variety. Abelia Mucho Gusto® is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrub.
