Description
(Boxwood) There are so many Boxwoods on the market, so what makes this one so special? Well, first of all, Neatball® Boxwood is an improved version of the classic 'Green Velvet'. Secondly, it keeps its deep green evergreen foliage throughout the winter season without turning bronze or brown as some Boxwoods are prone to. Last, but not least, Neatball® Boxwood grows in a dense globe-shaped mound reaching 2-3 feet high by 3 feet wide. Hardy in zones 4b-9, it grows in full sun to full shade locations making it such a versatile evergreen shrub. It is also very deer-resistant and is excellent for use as a hedge, border, foundation, or container plant. Provide Neatball® Boxwood with well-drained soil and regular watering. Pruning, if needed, is recommended in late spring to early summer after the new growth has started, making sure to avoid cutting into thick, woody stems. Neatball® Boxwood is a Proven Winners® Flowering Shrub.
