This variety has the largest flowers of all the delosperma. Its blooms will close at night and open again in the morning. Living up to its common name (Ice Plant), it can tolerate some frost and is hardy down to -25 degrees Fahrenheit. Delosperma are great options for dry areas or rock gardens. They are drought tolerant once established and prefer to be planted in sandy, well-drained soil, with minimal watering.
