It likes to be grown in full sun and in sandy, well-drained soil. Light watering is required but be sure not to overwater. Hardy in zones 5a-9b, it can tolerate frost and is hardy to -25 degrees Fahrenheit. Growing in a spreading growth habit, it reaches a maximum height of only 4-6 inches, and can spread up to 10-12 inches. Plant in mass, as a garden border, or to add color to a rock garden.
