Pegasus® Begonia
- Low Growing,
- Well Branched,
- Amazing Flower power
Description
(Begonia) Bold foliage gives Pegasus® Begonia its dramatic look from spring through fall. Thick, glossy green leaves feature a shimmering silver overlay that highlights their unique shape. While pink flowers may appear, the striking foliage remains the main attraction. This Begonia brings color and texture to spaces with less sunlight.
Growing 12-18 inches tall and spreading 16-18 inches wide, Pegasus® develops a full, substantial habit. Plant it in part shade to shade for the best performance. It handles summer heat well and prefers average moisture. Avoid letting the soil become overly dry for extended periods.
Pegasus® Begonia makes an impressive addition to containers and garden beds. Use it as a thriller in combination planters or let it command a container all by itself. Its bold leaves also work well in borders, mass plantings, and shaded landscape areas. No deadheading is needed to keep this easy-care annual looking good.
Hardy in zones 9-11, this Begonia grows as an annual in colder climates. Gardeners can also bring plants indoors and grow them as houseplants during winter. Regular fertilization encourages healthy growth throughout the season. Its heat tolerance and low-maintenance nature make it an excellent foliage option for adding drama to the shade garden.

Reviews
First time growing this, and absolutely love it along with the Black hole Space age Begonia. Redoing my porch decor and these plants hit the mark and looks great!
I love the plant. I have had it for about 6 years and it’s huge!😳
I planted it last summer in a pot, in the shade by my pond and it was gorgeous and grew very tall and wide. I was really sorry I didn't have room to bring it inside. I will get another this year.
I saw this in a tour of Pleasant View and have been salivating ever since. It was well worth the wait. Plant was healthy and ready to go even though Spring is not cooperating. So beautiful.
