Standing 3-4 feet tall and 2 feet wide, 'Blue Paradise' offers a very columnar habit adding structure to the garden. In the spring and summer the blue blades have a silver sheen, and as the summer ends and fades into fall, 'Blue Paradise' takes on a rich wine color. Contrasting with the fall color, tiny tan seed heads emerge. Planted in full sun, Prairie Winds® 'Blue Paradise' Schizachyrium can be a great addition to dry, hard to grow areas as well as a stand-out specimen in landscape designs. 'Blue Paradise' is a native ornamental grass that is deer resistant.
