Description

(Larkspur) 'Red Lark' is a unique addition to the delphinium family. The bold coral-red, ruffled-edged, fully double flowers are a great upright addition to the perennial garden. A more compact variety than some, 'Red Lark' stands 2 ½ - 3 feet tall. The bold flower spikes are held just above the bright green mound of foliage. Enjoy the early summer blooms and additional blooms again later in the season with a light trim. Hardy in zones 5-8, 'Red Lark' likes to be grown in full sun to part shade locations in average to fertile soil. This deer and rabbit-resistant perennial is easy to grow and makes a great cut or dried flower. Plant as a border or in mass for a great display of color in your summer garden. Enjoy the butterflies and hummingbirds as they stop to enjoy the 'Red Lark' delphinium.
