Rock 'N Grow® 'Midnight Velvet' Stonecrop (Sedum)

The burgundy-purple leaves form an upright mounding habit that adds interest to the garden from spring through fall. Late summer mauve flower buds emerge before they make their way to the rosy red flowers. Standing 22-26 inches tall and spreading to 32 inches wide, Rock 'N Grow® 'Midnight Velvet' forms a mounding habit. Planted in full sun is required to see the most intense coloration of foliage, part shade will result in green foliage tones. Sedum is a drought-tolerant perennial that can handle poor soil quality and light watering once it is established. Sedum Rock 'N Grow® 'Midnight Velvet' provides late summer color to the garden and is an important plant for late-season pollinators. Sedum is a deer-resistant perennial that attracts butterflies and pollinators to the garden. Easy to grow and salt tolerance should also be noted.
