Description

(Clematis) Cute and Compact describes Sapphire Indigo™ Clematis! The stunning dark purple blooms fade to an indigo blue as the flower matures, all the while accenting the dark purplish black anthers. If a long blooming Clematis Vine is what you are searching for, Sapphire Indigo™ fits that description. A continuous bloomer from June through September, this compact 4 foot tall vine can be trained to climb a short trellis or will maintain a tidy looking ground cover for your garden or landscape. Sapphire Indigo™ can be grown in a full sun to part shade location. Add vertical or, in this case, ground covering interest to your landscape and gardens with Clematis vines. Flower color may vary due to the environment.

I love this Clematis

I didn't expect much from this clematis, but it was wonderful in the first year, blooming its head off in successive waves. I tied it to a tepee trellis with two other true vining clematis, and just had to retie a few times.
