Description

(Hosta) Structure, color, and texture are what Shadowland® 'Voices in the Wind' hosta add to the shade garden. This bi-colored hosta features Blueish green wedge-shaped foliage with extra ruffly creamy yellow edges. Hosta 'Voices in the Wind' stands 17 inches tall and spreads up to 29 inches wide. Midsummer 26 inch tall scapes emerge with lavender flowers. Hardy in zones 3-9, 'Voices in the Wind' likes to be grown in part to full shade locations. Hostas like to be grown in average to fertile soil conditions and are a great addition to woodland gardens. These easy-to-grow classics are grown for their attractive foliage and can be used as a specimen or to create a beautiful garden border. At the end of summer/fall, we recommend removing all the spent foliage once the plants have gone dormant. This helps to remove the eggs of slugs and other leaf-eating insects.
