Description

(Clematis) Clematis 'Silver Moon' is a uniquely colored clematis that performs well in part to full shade! Most clematis prefer full to partial sun, but this one is a strong performer in nearly any location. The large 6-7" flowers are silvery-mauve with cream anthers. The petals are wide and overlap nicely to make a very full flower. A vigorous bloomer June thru July and reblooming in late August, 'Silver Moon' is part of Clematis Prune Group 2. A suitable selection for containers, 'Silver Moon' also brings height and drama to any trellis, arbor, or fence. Bring the elegant flowers indoors as they are lovely cut and floated in a bowl.
