Description

(Geranium, Interspecific) Geraniums are a summer staple in the garden and Solera™ Fuchsia Geranium is no exception. This stunning geranium features bold pinkish/red flower clusters that form a globe shape. Its green foliage is scented, and has a distinct rounded shape unique to geranium varieties. Solera™ Fuchsia reaches a maximum height and width of 12-14 inches. Its compact and mounded growth habit makes it perfect for summer containers or hanging baskets. It is also a resilient geranium, and performs excellent when planted in the landscape or in the ground in the garden. Geraniums love the sun, and Solera™ Fuchsia does best when planted in full sun areas. This geranium can also tolerate the heat of the summer, has light watering requirements, and is drought tolerant once established. We recommend feeding your annuals once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. Geraniums also need to be deadheaded once the blooms are spent, in order to promote rebloom. The bright blooms attract pollinator bees and hummingbirds, so you're sure to see these frequent visitors throughout the season.
