Description

(Coneflower) Echinacea SOMBRERO POCO™ Red is a compact, eye-catching coneflower that brings bold color and pollinator power to sunny gardens. This vibrant variety features deep red, daisy-like blooms with prominent dark cones, delivering a fiery punch of color from early to late summer. Its tidy, dwarf habit reaches just 14-16 inches tall and spreads 14-16 inches wide, making it perfect for borders, containers, and small garden spaces. Native to North America, this echinacea thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, showing excellent drought tolerance once established. Hardy in zones 4-9. It's a magnet for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds while being naturally resistant to deer. The blooms make fantastic cut flowers, holding their shape and color beautifully in fresh arrangements. SOMBRERO POCO™ Red begins blooming in early summer and continues through late summer, often reblooming with minimal care. With its compact size, vibrant color, and strong garden performance, this echinacea is a must-have for pollinator-friendly and low-maintenance landscapes.

Two beautiful plants recieved in excellent condition.

Two plants received in excellent condition.
Our severe heat this Summer is brutal on plants. Inspite of it one plant is doing very well. One with a little more sun, just 4feet away is struggling but I hope it will come out of it.

New coneflower

Poco red coneflower arrived in great condition. I had wanted a true red cone flower, and this turned out to be just what, I wanted. I planted right after it arrived in a sunny spot, it has grown well, even with my dahlia crowding on it. I have kept it watered and used an organic fertilizer. I couldn’t be happier with it.
