We are excited to announce that there is now a dark-leafed, reblooming weigela that is good enough to be part of the SONIC BLOOM® family. Sonic Bloom Wine® is the first ever dark burgundy-colored reblooming weigela. Standing 4-5 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide, the dark burgundy black foliage forms an upright mound. In late spring, bright pink tubular flowers emerge for their first cycle of flowers. Up to 2-3 more times throughout the summer, you will see a fresh round of blooms. Hardy in zones 4-8, Weigela likes to be planted in full-sun locations and is adaptable to just about any soil type. Sonic Bloom Wine® weigela blooms on new and old growth.
