Description

(Lungwort) Pulmonaria 'Spot On' brings a unique color hue to the genus with its almost orange flower buds that open to pink, then mature to shades of purple and blue. The flowers are set off by eye-catching green foliage that is splattered with silver. Growing 14-16" high with a spread of 18-20", Pulmonaria 'Spot On' will thrive in rich, moisture retentive soil in the part to full shade garden. Pulmonarias spread slowly by rhizomes, forming a nice sized patch of foliage. Used as an edging or border plant, Pulmonaria 'Spot On' also looks impressive planted in masses and is perfect in the woodland garden. It provides all season interest and combines wonderfully with other shade loving plants such as hosta, ferns, and polemonium. 'Spot On' is resistant to both deer and rabbits and is a Proven Winners® Perennial.

The Pulmonaria 'Spot on' was packed very well and is thriving on the north side of my home in partial shade. It is there with several other plants of same variety and am anxious to see their bloom next spring.

Have to buy more of these this year, coming up nicely and already blooming! Love the colors of the blooms, can't go wrong with this plant!

Easy growing and great color highlight with white azalea in my NW Arkansas (Zone 6b), partial shade, woodland garden. Early Spring emergence and flowering make for a welcome harbinger to a new Season!
