Stardiva™ Blue Fan Flower (Scaevola)

(Fan Flower) Give the illusion of bursting, colorful flowers with the unique Stardiva® Blue Scaevola! Commonly called fan flowers, scaevolas in the Stardiva® series are the first scaevolas to appear star-shaped, as opposed to the traditional fan-shaped blooms of other scaevolas. Stardiva® Blue Scaevola is covered in light purple star-shaped blooms with small yellow centers. Growing in a mounding habit, it makes a perfect filler option for container combinations. Its small flowers are loved by bees, making it a great pollinator plant. It can reach a height of 4-8 inches and can spread up to 10-14 inches. This low-maintenance scaevola is tolerant of heat and humidity, as well as it is drought tolerant once established. Do you have a windy area in your garden or landscape, this plant can handle it! As with all of our annuals, we recommend fertilizing once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. No deadheading is necessary, and the flowers will continue to bloom throughout the season.
