(Dwarf Delphinium) Delphinium 'Summer Nights' is a lovely dwarf variety that reaches only 12" tall! From early summer through fall, the long-blooming dark sapphire-blue flowers will not disappoint. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees love the masses of deep blue flowers, while deterring rabbits and deer! Great as an edging, container plant, and cut flower! Incorporate other perennials and annuals in shades of bright colors for a beautiful contrast. Full sun to part shade is ideal. Plant in rich well-drained soil. Hardy for zones 3 to 7. 'Summer Nights' has proven to have better heat tolerance than other varieties.
