(Wishbone Flower) Summer Wave® Large Blue Torenia has true blue color, forming trumpet-shaped blooms. This beauty flowers all season long, while attracting hummingbirds and bees. Large Blue is self-cleaning, so no deadheading and very little maintenance. Torenia love filtered sun and do well in shady locations. Like all the rest of the Summer Wave® plants, this thrives in high humidity and has excellent heat tolerance. Large Blue grows 8 to 10 inches high and can trail up to 36 inches. The trailing habit of Torenia Summer Wave® Large Blue makes it a great selection for hanging baskets, window boxes, landscaping, and combination planters.

Bought this last year and it didn't just trail over my planter, it grew all the way up a 3 foot wall and up an 8 foot railing. It flowered from the day it was planted all the way til today, November 29 in Zone 7. Amazing plant.

Awesome

This is an AWESOME plant. As long as it has afternoon shade, it will be covered with lavender blue flowers until frost. It fills in nicely and is great to soften the edge of a patio or in a hanging basket. I have never had any problems and have never had to spray against insects.
