Standing only 3 -3 ½ feet tall, 'Edge of Night' features jet black foliage when planted in full sun. Late summer, extra-large, 7-8 inch rosy pink flowers emerge with a splendid red eye and dark pink veining, a stunning contrast to the black foliage. Hardy in zones 4-9, Hibiscus Summerific® 'Edge of Night' does best when planted in full sun to part shade locations, remember best color appears in the full sun. This deer resistant, native perennial attracts hummingbirds and pollinators to the garden.
