Description
(Mexican Giant Hyssop) SUMMERLONG™ Lilac Agastache lives up to its trademark name as it blooms all summer long. Featuring lilac, trumpet-shaped flowers, this agastache is a favorite for hummingbirds. These flowers stand upright on tall, sturdy stems. Its foliage is true green in color and is also fragrant. Not only is this a great plant to attract hummingbirds, it's also a great plant to attract pollinator bees. However, deer will typically stay away making it a great option for deer resistance. Its upright habit makes it the perfect thriller shape for container combinations. It keeps a compact shape growing as tall and wide as 16-22 inches, a great option for small spaces in the garden. Hardy in zones 7a-10b, it begins flowering in late spring and keeps blooming well into late summer. Easy to care for, SUMMERLONG™ Lilac Agastache requires only light watering, and once established, is heat and drought tolerant. Plant in well drained soil and in an area that receives full sun exposure.
