Description

(Mandevilla) Add vertical color to your garden with SUN PARASOL® Giant Peach Sunrise Mandevilla. This climbing mandevilla features peachy pink blooms with orange and yellow centers. Each bloom is about 5 inches in size and contrasts nicely against bold green foliage. Mandevilla are great climbing vines and can be supported using obelisks, arches, or other upright structures. This particular variety can reach a maximum height of 6-10 feet and can spread up to 12-24 inches. Its blooms attract pollinator bees and are a favorite of hummingbirds. Mandevillas grow best in full sun to part sun areas of the garden, and are drought tolerant once established. SUN PARASOL® Giant Peach Sunrise Mandevilla is heat tolerant and deer resistant, so it fairs well in the garden during the summer months. Those in Southern zones (10-11) may find this annual will overwinter and its foliage will stay evergreen.

I have had Giant Peach Sunrise Mandevilla growing on trellises in my home garden in Columbus, Ohio for the last three years. I love this plant with its exotic colorful large pink blooms with infusions of yellow and orange. This year I will feature it growing on a wrought iron fence running about 30 feet long street side. This planting will alternate Peach Sunrise with Giant White Mandevilla. These colors will showcase one another making for an eye catching display in full sun on a corner lot. I recommend using a soluble fertilizer like 20-20-20 every week through August and as needed for the remainder of the growing season. To date there have been no issues with diseases or insects. Don't over water. Happy Gardening!
