Description

(Barberry) SUNJOY® Citrus Berberis is another outstanding PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® shrub that is a must have for every landscape. SUNJOY® Citrus is an improved golden barberry with a neatly rounded habit that will create a uniform, ball-shaped plant. This selection was tested for 5 years to make sure that it will not burn like other yellow leaved barberry. SUNJOY® Citrus is deer resistant and the bright golden yellow foliage is great as a hedge, in the shrub border or foundation planting or as an excellent container specimen. SUNJOY® Citrus performs best in full sun with well-draining soil.

Roots are Fine

I planted this particular species in the spring. It has now lost all its leaves and only twigs remain. I have seen to it that it is watered at least 2 times a week, more if particularly hot. The roots are fine. Do you think this plant will come back?
