Description
(Coneflower) Fill the summer garden with bold, vibrant color with Echinacea SUNMAGIC® Vintage Fuchsia. This striking coneflower produces rich fuchsia-pink blooms surrounding a prominent central cone, creating a beautiful contrast above its green foliage. The colorful flowers are held on sturdy, upright stems, providing weeks of color during the mid to late summer garden.
Growing approximately 18–24 inches tall and 18–24 inches wide, this compact perennial is an excellent choice for sunny borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, mass plantings, and containers. Hardy in USDA Zones 4–9, SUNMAGIC® Vintage Fuchsia performs best when planted in full sun. The abundant flowers attract bees and butterflies, adding both color and activity to the garden. Once flowering has finished, leave some of the seed heads standing to provide a food source for visiting finches. Coneflowers are also generally considered deer resistant.
With its strong stems and long-lasting flowers, this Echinacea makes an excellent cut flower for fresh summer bouquets. Echinacea purpurea is native to North America, making this cultivated variety a beautiful addition to landscapes featuring native species. SUNMAGIC® Vintage Fuchsia has brilliant color, pollinator appeal, and an easy-to-grow nature make it a standout addition to the summer landscape.
