Supercal® Premium Bordeaux Petchoa

(Petunia x Calibrachoa) SuperCal® Premium Bordeaux Petchoa is a bold addition to the garden. Petchoa is a hybrid of petunias and calibrachoas, and closely resembles petunias in flower size and growth habit. Its calibrachoa parentage brings vibrant colors and nonsticky foliage. It has improved self-cleaning capabilities and resilience to extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain, summer heat, and early spring frost. SuperCal® Premium Bordeaux features deep, scarlet red blooms with bright green foliage. Plant in areas that receive full sun. Growing in a mounded habit, it can reach a height of 14-20 inches and a width of 14-22 inches. It is early to flower in the spring, providing excellent color and interest all season long. Its ability to self-clean defeats the need for deadheading. Bordeaux Petchoa is a perfect addition to the landscape and patio containers. We recommend feeding your Petchoas once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. Just like with petunias, don't be afraid to give SuperCal® Premium Bordeaux Petchoa a trim mid-season to promote more branching and more blooms.
