Supercal® Premium Rose Star Petchoa

SuperCal® Premium Rose Star Petchoa! Its blooms feature bubblegum pink petals with broad fuchsia stripes that form a star pattern. This petchoa is a prolific bloomer and is sure to bring color to your garden all season long. Petchoa is a cross between a petunia and calibrachoa. It resembles a petunia with its large flowers and excellent vigor, the vibrant flower colors and nonsticky foliage come from the calibrachoa parentage. Petchoa has many improvements such as its resilience to harsh weather conditions. Petchoas can withstand late spring frosts, heavy rain, and the high heat of the summer. They also are self-cleaning, so no deadheading is required to keep them blooming. SuperCal® Premium Rose Star Petchoa grows in a mounding habit with a height of 14-20 inches and a width of 14-22 inches. Plant in full sun areas of the garden, and water just enough to keep the soil moist. We also recommend feeding your petchoa once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. While deadheading is not needed, we do recommend giving your plant a good trim once in midsummer. Doing so will help promote long-lasting flowers throughout the summer.
