Description

(Petunia x Calibrachoa) SuperCal® Premium Sunray Pink Petchoa is a unique addition to your garden. Petchoa is a cross between a petunia and a calibrachoa with the large flowers and habit of a petunia, and the vibrant colors and nonsticky foliage of calibrachoas. While petunias are delicate and susceptible to cooler temperatures and harsh weather, petchoas can withstand late spring frosts, heavy rain, and the heat of the summer. They also are self cleaning eliminating the need to deadhead the spent blooms. SuperCal® Premium Sunray Pink Petchoa features pinky-purple blooms with a yellow/orange center. This unique color combination looks fantastic when planted in container combinations or in the landscape. It has excellent vigor and grows in a mounding habit reaching a height of 14-20 inches and width of 14-22 inches. Petchoas grow best in areas of full sun and require a good amount of watering. We also recommend feeding your annuals once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. Give your SuperCal® Premium Sunray Pink Petchoa a trim in the midsummer to promote a new flush of blooms and prolong its bloom time.
