Description
(Hardy Hydrangea) Cute as a button describes TINY QUICK FIRE™ Hydrangea! One of the smallest panicle hydrangeas yet, TINY QUICK FIRE™ is like the other QUICK FIRE® varieties blooming early and changing color before others even start to bloom. The flowers of have unique cup-shaped florets that start pure white and change quickly to a reddish pink color. Growing 1 ½-3 feet high by 2-3 feet wide, TINY QUICK FIRE™ Hydrangea is perfect for the front of the border, planting in drifts, or in containers. It grows in zones 3-8 in most soils, except very wet, poorly draining sites. Place in a full to part sun location, keeping in mind that we recommend those in cooler climates choose full sun for best stem strength and bloom set. TINY QUICK FIRE™ blooms on new wood, so cut back by about one-third in early spring just as new buds start to show on the stems. TINY QUICK FIRE™ is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
