The star shape blooms feature overlapping petals that are a pale lavender color with white centers. Blooming off of the old wood late spring flowers appear, later in the summer more blooms put on a show-off of the new season's growth. Planted in full sun to part shade locations, BOULEVARD® TRANQUILITE™ is a perfect addition to your shorter trellis' or in a container.

I was not expecting blooms this year (my clematis tend to sleep the first year, creep the second, and leap the third, as the saying goes), but was suprised at the 5 gorgeous blooms shortly after it was planted. The color of the blooms is so unique, quite etheral. Hard to describe but I'd call it pale but intense - it is striking. Sadly, rabbits began nibbling my plant stunting it a bit, but I've since caged it, and the next couple of years it should take off.
