(Mountain Hydrangea) With its exceptional cold tolerance and prolific rebloom, TUFF STUFF TOP FUN® is a must-have for the garden. This showy serrata boosts large magenta pink to purple shade lace cap flowers all summer long. Blooming on new and old growth, Hydrangea TUFF STUFF TOP FUN® is always ready to be the life of the party. Growing 2-3 feet tall and wide, the bright blue-green foliage forms a mounding habit. In the fall the foliage takes on beautiful shades of burgundy for added color interest. Hardy in zones 4-9, Hydrangea TUFF STUFF TOP FUN® is a reliable bloomer in full sun to part shade locations. Mountain Hydrangeas prefer moist, well-drained soils and are less likely to wilt than Bigleaf Hydrangeas. They can handle a wide range of pH, but this will affect the flower color from pink to purple shades. Mountain Hydrangeas are a nice addition to foundation plantings, hedges, or as a specimen in your garden. Hydrangea TUFF STUFF TOP FUN® blooms off of new and old growth, we do not recommend trimming any more than just removing the old blooms.
