Description

(Mealycup Sage) The wait for a white salvia is finally over! Introducing Unplugged® White Salvia to the Unplugged® series. This annual salvia features stark white, upright blooms that pollinators will love! We've seen lots of bees buzzing around this plant in our trial gardens, and it is also known to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Its tall stalks of flowers add vertical interest to the garden and can reach a height of 24 inches and spread up to 16 inches. Grow this stunning salvia in the landscape or pollinator garden, or add it to a container combination as an upright thriller. Its flowers will continuously bloom throughout the season and don't require deadheading. Unplugged® White Salvia is heat tolerant and drought tolerant once established, but we recommend keeping it watered regularly and fed weekly with a water-soluble fertilizer for optimal performance. If the flower spikes are getting too tall for your liking, go ahead and give them a trim, it will not stop the plant from flowering. It is easy to envision this beautiful salvia surrounded by other colorful annuals in a container combination or in the garden!
