Description
(Dahlia) Add a burst of sunshine to your garden with Virtuoso™ Dayglo Yellow™ Dahlia! Also great for container combinations, it is compact and full of flower power. This bright dahlia features large, pure yellow blooms that stand out amongst dark green foliage. In the heat of the summer, you're sure to see an abundance of these flowers as dahlias love the heat. Dahlias in the Virtuoso™ series are known to bloom earlier than traditional dahlias for a long blooming season. Virtuoso™ Dayglo Yellow™ can reach a maximum height of 15-18 inches and can spread up to 12-18 inches wide. Growing in an upright habit, it makes a great thriller for container combinations, or it can be planted in the ground for a mass of color. Plant in areas that receive full sun. It is recommended to deadhead the blooms for appearance and for the health of the plant. We also recommend feeding your annuals once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. Dahlias tend to be an unpleasant choice to deer and rabbits and are noted as deer and rabbit resistant, although not deer and rabbit proof.
