Description

(Lenten Rose) One of the most vibrant double flowers in the WEDDING PARTY® Series is 'Whirlwind Romance'. It features fully double flowers that are white with heavy magenta red veining and a dark burgundy picotee. Flip the flower over and see burgundy on the backside. WEDDING PARTY® 'Whirlwind Romance' is similar to 'Blushing Bridesmaid' with a much deeper, richer color. Creating a mounding habit, WEDDING PARTY® 'Whirlwind Romance' stands up to 24 inches tall and wide. Hardy in zones 4-9, Lenten Rose likes to be grown in full to part shade locations with fertile to average soil conditions. One of the earliest plants to bloom in the garden Hellebore flowers can last 6 weeks or longer. Even the spent blooms give lots of color and interest. This deer and rabbit-resistant perennial is great for borders, mass plantings, and container gardens. Drought tolerant and easy to grow, WEDDING PARTY® 'Whirlwind Romance' makes a great cut flower and is pretty when used as a floating flower.
