Holly Inkberry - Ilex - Shrubs

Inkberry Holly is a broadleaf evergreen that is a native alternative to boxwood. If you've had issues growing boxwood before, Inkberry is a great replacement choice. It has a dense growth habit with small dark green leaves and, will produce small white flowers in spring that will attract pollinators. Growing best in zones 5-9, Inkberry Holly prefers moist acidic soil and a part to full sun location, although it does have good shade tolerance. Inkberry is perfect for use as an evergreen hedge, border plant or in containers.

Dense bush with many slender, pointed green leaves and reddish stems, showing healthy growth. Some leaves have slight reddish tips. The plant is surrounded by other greenery.
