Collection: Bugleweed - Ajuga - Perennials

If you are looking for an attractive, evergreen, low-growing ground cover, then Ajuga, also known as bugleweed is your plant. Bugleweed will quickly fill border areas in your garden by sending out "creeping" runners. Tolerant of sun to shade conditions, Ajuga has foliage in various shades from green, to purple to bronze. Purple blooms appear in spring along stems that rise above the foliage. This ground cover smothers weeds, can be used for erosion control and is deer resistant.
